Interview with Manuel Affolter, Soccer Game Analyst

The first team of the Berner Sport Club Young Boys (BSC Young Boys) evolved in the first Swiss Soccer League. They won 15 Swiss League Championships, 6 Swiss Cups and the last 4 Swiss Championships. YB is one of the most successful Swiss football clubs internationally, reaching the semi-finals of the European Cup in the 1958–59 season. This year, and for the second time in their history, YB qualified for the Champions League in the play-offs, beating Slovan Bratislava, CFR Cluj, and Ferencvaros. The Adler Mannheim , Mannheim Eagles, formerly Mannheimer ERC, is an ice hockey team in the Deutsche Eishockey Liga, the highest ranking ice hockey league in Germany. Currently, the team plays at SAP Arena, with a capacity of 13,600 ice hockey spectators. The Adler Mannheim were already champions of the German Bundesliga in 1980. After the Deutsche Eishockey Liga was founded in 1994, the Mannheim Eagles were able to win the championship seven more times in 1997, 1998, 1999, 2001, 2007, 2015 and 2019. They also won the German Cup in 2003 and 2007 and were runners-up in 2006.
