I get this question from coaches that are not used to using this type of technology within their player evaluation and development, and opponent scouting processes. There is no doubt that coaches spend many hours performing these process functions to develop their players skills as well prepare their team against opponents. What I will introduce in this paper is a toolset that will increase your efficiency and effectiveness executing these processes for your program.
This toolset’s technology adopts similar processes that are adopted by business managers to improve and manage a company’s business. We use the same approach by taking large amounts of pitch data on pitchers and hitters and translate the data into visual views of a player’s performance, tendencies and trends in games and practice.
In addition to the players visual reports the toolset provides a linkage between the reports and pitch video. It has always been a challenge for coaches to find the specific pitch video they want to teach from. When pitch video is integrated into these visual data reports it solves this problem and offers a very efficient method to communicate specific areas of improvement or to prepare them to face opponent pitchers or hitters.
In summary, this new method of making the invisible visible will increase your efficiency and effectiveness in developing player improvement plans and game planning against opponents. You quickly will see the value of our visual data reports being linked to game and practice video allowing coaches to visually teach or prepare the team through video.
