The city of Fribourg Olympic Basketball Club (FOB) a Swiss basketball club, has evolved since 1955 in the Swiss first division (LNA).
They have won every possible national title and are the only Swiss club to participate in European tournaments. Why? Because the FOB has always aimed to reach the top of the rankings, holding the highest ranking in Swiss basketball.
Petar Aleksić made history, in particular by achieving his first hat-trick: League Cup – Swiss Cup – Championship, at the end of the 2006-2007 season.
We caught up with Petar Aleksić and his players, preparing for their final playoff game.
Petar Aleksić has been the head coach of the FOB for 8 years. He now has 15 trophies serving as head coach of the FOB for 8 years, Aleksić now has 15 trophies with Fribourg. With hard work, perseverance, and his passion for basketball, Petar leads his team with energy and benevolence.

On the floor once again, the players apply the input, leaving no chance for their opponents to get the upper hand, leading to winning their 20th Swiss Championship title. Yep. 20th!
