Dartfish, a leader in Baseball-Softball player development and game planning-preparation tools, today announced a new service that will add tremendous value to our softball customers as they game plan against opponents. The service provides coaches access to graphical reports and pitch video of around 300 games from the 2020 season and adding about 20 games a week during the 2021 season. All of this without using any of your staff resources.
Chuck Wilmot, Dartfish’s Diamond Sports Director, stated “Over the last six seasons we have provided our toolset to many college programs for player development and scouting opponent teams players. Having the available staff resources to chart opponent games has been an issue for many teams. This new service will solve this problem at an affordable price”.
As we developed this service it was an important goal to keep our customers self-charted data and video private, secure, and separated from opponent scouting service data and video. We accomplished this by allowing the customer to access two separate databases from their account. Below is a screen shot of how simple it is for a customer to switch between their private reports and video and the opponent scouting service.
